Description

Originally designed in the 1930s by Robert Dumas, son-in-law to Emile Hermes, who headed Hermes between 1951-1978, this designer bag was created with straps. The shape was a traperoid shape with a cutout flap, two trianular gussets, two side straps and a handle. The brand was modernised with this bold new design.

It is said that Grace Kelly was photographsed wearing this luxury designer bag and the result of this was international expsosure leading Hermes to rename the bag the Kelly.

Alezan, or chestnut, is almost like a passe-partout in the world of fashion accessories. The colour of the Kelly bag presents itself uniquely in the epsom embossed leather type.
